It isn't an independent paper.[edit]

Umm the Grand Island Independent was bought by Lee Enterprises. You can see that on the Lee Enterprises page. You can see it with their copy pasted articles from the Lincoln Journal Star and Omaha World herald also owned by Lee Enterprises.

That independent newspaper tag at the top needs to be removed. Omaha World co lower the history section is owned by Lee Enterprises.
