Cyberpunk[edit]

I've read both books, and I doubt that postcyberpunk is a good description. Forge of Heaven is a coming-of-age novel (among other topics), and Cherryh is about 17 years older than Neal Stephenson—his Diamond Age is an example in the postcyberpunk section of the cyberpunk derivatives. If you really must use some wild mixture of WP:OR and WP:NEO here, how about nanopunk?
