Clarity[edit]

I don't understand the first three paragraphs, or so. As I have not read this storyline perhaps someone would be able to help shed some light on the matter?

Ultimate Death[edit]

I added a note on when it happened. It's a completely different story, though, and her death was only a small part of it (plus, not the title), so that's it. The rest can stay on her biography article. -HKMarks 21:52, 3 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

relation to other spiderman events[edit]

I'm not sure if this should be mentioned here or elsewhere, but this story is tied to the origin of Venom.

Eddie Brock was working as a reporter and published a series of articles in which he interviewed a man who confessed to being the Sin Eater. This man was not actually the Sin Eater, however and this was revealed when Spiderman captured the real Sin Eater. This caused Eddie Brock to be fired from his job, and was the first in a string of events that fueled Eddie Brock's hatred of Spiderman.

I don't recall exact issue numbers for these events but I could find out if it's decided that this should be included.

If your looking for when this story was told, look no further then Amazing Spiderman 300. Venom tells Spiderman about this during this issue, I should know I have two copies and a reprint.

If you look at the Peter David article, it is the fans in Atlanta who stated to Jim Owsley that 'Nah, Jean isn't dead', not the other way around -- Sam
