Bowed to record company pressure?[edit]

I do believe I have read somewhere that Blackie willingly named it a WASP album after he realized how much the album sounded like WASP.

Also, is it entirely necessary to have the complete lyrics of the song "The Story of Jonathon" in the article?--70.29.71.46 22:21, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I cut the article down, removed the lyrics of "The Story of Jonathon", made the article far more accessible, and created a more straight-forward summary of The Crimson Idol.--70.29.71.46 17:18, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it Johnathan or Johnathon?[edit]

A recent edit changed some of the instances of the name. Xiner (talk, email) 12:52, 8 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Adding the genre "glam metal" to this album[edit]

Hey!

Just wanting to know if I can add the genre "glam metal" to this album. Stated as such in this reference: [1]https://www.guitarworld.com/features/10-last-gasp-hair-metal-guitar-albums

Thanks! AgentKozak (talk) 15:41, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it is a glam metal album—at all—but the source looks OK. Bearing mind WP:UNDUE, are there any other sources saying it's glam metal? Mac Dreamstate (talk) 19:07, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hey! Thanks for the response. Absolutely! There are a few. Here's another one I found [2]https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/articles/features/top_6_underrated_90s_glam_metal_albums-117944
