Notability and sources[edit]

The hit-and-run {{notability|date=December 2010}} tag has generated no interest and was IMO wrongly placed in any case, there is a clear and verifiable claim of notability. Agree that references to secondary sources are lacking, and that tag should stay, but I suggest removing the notability tag. Andrewa (talk) 20:10, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See also Talk:The Artist (film)#Requested Move: → The Artist. Regardless of the outcome of this move request it's hard to see how the notability of this topic can seriously be challenged in the light of discussion there. Andrewa (talk) 20:05, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how this article has an easy claim to notability. After seeing the current notability tag, I did a search for sources and there do not seem to be any independent or non-trivial sources to satisfy GNG. The only claim to significance in the article is that it is "Britain’s longest-established practical art magazine", for which I could find no verification. If a source for this is found it would satisfy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(media)#Newspapers,_magazines_and_journals but, otherwise, I think it may be a candidate for deletion. (I also didn't see what you were referring to in the linked discussion). If anyone has sources or other reasons against deletion, I'd be glad to hear them.--Lenny Marks (talk) 11:57, 31 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
