To whoever can edit the places in Leg 3, please do so. I am not familiar with the actual names mentioned, so if you can, please include the actual names of the places they went to. Leg 7[edit]

The reward for Ethan & Khairie is similar to the non-1st place awards given by Travelocity to teams in the American Version, when one team gets the gnome with the required mark/symbol. Leg 7 results second footnote[edit]

Any reference of the future legs?[edit]

If there's no reference, it can't be prooven to be real. Thus, no one should reveal the future legs or they'll be fined with 5 million US dollars. And may I ask the editer about where its information came from?Wowovr2 (talk) 03:46, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jess is not a Filipino[edit]

By the way, Jacinta "Jess" James is not a Filipino, she is pure-blooded Australian. Though she was born and raised in Australia and came to the Philippines in 2006.

According to the source from Philippine Daily Inquirer [2]:

James and Pillinger were born and raised in Australia. Pillinger’s mom hails from Bicol; James is 100 percent Australian.

Leg 2 penalty for Michelle & Claire[edit]

Although before Michelle and Claire won the 20-min advantage at the roadblock, they were penalised a 4-hour penalty. Should they.......

  1. Did ignore penalty?
  2. Minus 20-min of Penalty?

Fix leg 7[edit]

Please see Talk:The Amazing Race Australia#Fix Leg 7 for details. In the first episode, Allan Wu said there are 11 legs, but Leg 7 isn't a double-length leg and has a prize. ApprenticeFan work 11:44, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Leg 7[edit]

Can't we count it as a virtual Pitstop and not a super leg (or a leg without break). Because I think it would be erroneous to refer to it as not a pit stop when the host and production company and tallys by axn counts it as one.   • But they can't have used the Virtual Pitstop (By which I mean the thing we use the Underlined Leg number to indicate) before the American version invented it. It's a superleg, plain and simple.     • Hmm, in season one viewers were told that the location was "where teams will check in" and it was not counted as a pit stop in the next leg. But in seasons 2 and 4 they were counted as actual pitstops (“this is a virtual pit stop"). Official tallys also count them as actual pit stops and seperate legs too (including the host “there are eleven legs...")... Can we please have some sort of standard across the amazing race wikipedia pages. This is either a superleg or a no mandatory rest period leg, virtual pitstop is just the name given to it, it's no different to the same legs used in the american version and indicating it as such is confusing and overly complicated. It is the exact same as leg 5 in Amazing Race Asia 2 which is considered a super leg and this should be reverted asap.     • This was my comment btw ^^ I'd forgotten my account password. As the comment received positive feedback on the history page, I've consolidated virtual pit stops and superlegs into one paragraph on the main Amazing Race Asia page. I'm going to revert the table to showing leg 7 as a superleg as it is one. A virtual pit stop is not the name of a leg, it is the name given to the checkpoint in the middle by the Amazing Race Asia staff and can be marked as such in the Leg 7 race summary. I realise people want this special "first" for the Amazing Race Asia, but it is merely a cosmetic name to clear up confusion for teams/viewers about this checkpoint and in order to maintain standard across the Amazing Race wikipedia, I will revert this. Please discuss this further before changing it back ARArules (talk) 12:02, 5 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
      • Ok, in order to clear up any confusion, I've edited both the main Amazing Race Asia section about double-length legs and this page to show that the leg is a superleg. The midpoint is the virtual pit stop. This virtual pit stop creates 1 superleg out of the 2 legs, therefore keeping what Allan said about "There are 11 legs in this race" true, whilst confirming that the same type of superleg seen in Seasons 1 and 2 and in the earlier american seasons. If you would like this changing, please discuss this first, explaining how you think a leg that functions the same as a pre-established leg in the same franchise (Asian series) is somehow different just for this one season.         • Now this is a wonderful idea! It keeps it consistent with what Allan says and what a superlag is. However, The Australian Season 1 is similar and I believe should be similarly edited to what appears in this one because Grant mentions it to be (12 legs) in the beginning and ALSO calls it a "marathon leg" later on. :) Kartoffel07 (talk) 06:50, 11 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
