Comment[edit]

Regarding the 0.7 mile extension at the northern end of Loop 360: If I'm not mistaken, this segment was never part of the state highway system. There used to be a sign on Mopac simply directing drivers to "Capital of Texas Highway." There was some discussion about adding a "360" route number to the signage, because technically that segment was not part of the state highway (this was 1995 or so and it appeared in the Statesman). As I recall, the route number finally went up anyway, I guess because it was less confusing. But I moved away from the city 3 years ago so maybe the signange changed again in the meantime...? -- Gyrofrog (talk) 05:27, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

According to TxDOT[[1]], the extension was part of 360 from 1969 until 1996. Signage, of course, doesn't always match. Deh 14:24, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
