The second last line of the rhyme is wrong in either the Japanese or the Romaji - they don't match. 84.203.61.5 (talk) 08:41, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong Kana?[edit]

Not sure on this, but as 'Teru' is supposed to be onomatopoeia for shiny or sun-shining shouldn't it be using katakana 「テルテル坊主」 instead of hiragana 「てるてる坊主」? --ZZ (talk) 14:58, 19 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Japanese article is at ja:てるてる坊主 and it seems unlikely that is a mistake. I think the usage of katakana for onomatopoeia is fairly recent, and teru teru bozu predates it. Siawase (talk) 00:05, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Weathering with You[edit]

Teru teru bozū dolls are seen in the anime Weathering with you. And the character Nagi wears a costume. Vmaldia (talk) 10:11, 23 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
