Editing[edit]

I've edited this article according to Sir Alan Gardiner's Egypt of the Pharaohs (Oxford University Press 1961), and thus substituted the name of the king Neferkare by the cited Meryibtowe.

I also propose the merge of this article with the 9th Dynasty's, since like the 7th and 8th, these can't be separated and their content is basically the same. --SamaraDyva (talk) 10:41, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the move request was: Move all. Jafeluv (talk) 03:12, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

– Recently the articles for the 1st–10th and the 20th–30th dynasties of Egypt were moved after discussion to a name format that capitalized the word "Dynasty". (See that discussion for the rationale for this move.) For some reason not noted in that discussion, the articles for the 10th–19th dynasties were not included. It was perhaps an oversight, but I raise it here in case there is a principled reason I am unaware of that these should be different than the others. Fun, but isn't this [1] better? Support. Dougweller (talk) 09:56, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The first word is capitalized in the current titles just because the MediaWiki software requires it. But we can still ngram all the possibilities. Kauffner (talk) 11:35, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
