"Tenseless languages can and do refer to time but they do so using lexical items such as adverbs or verbs, or by using combinations of aspect, and mood, and words that establish time reference."
If a tenseless language uses verbs to indicate temporal positioning, then it's no longer tenseless based on that description. I feel like it's probably more accurate to describe the use of particular verbs that are lexically specified to contain that time reference than it is simply to state that verbs are used. 153.33.8.31
Merger proposal[edit]
I propose that tenseless language be merged into grammatical tense. I do not think that there is enough detail to justify having this be its own article and would be more convenient as a section in the larger article. Specter Koen (talk) 20:56, 25 June 2022 (UTC)
