Thanks @SWinxy Question: How can the messages be removed from the page? #1. The major contributor appears to not be contributing to the page edits any longer and that message is old. #2. The biography is of a dead artist (not living) and the references are 100% reliable and published sources (Three New York Times articles and Three ArtForum articles, among others) none of the references are primary sources.

I removed the warnings at your suggestion (note that I also agree to ask "lol why are they there"). The article doesn't ooze WP:NPOV violations, and he's also... like... not alive? No idea why it was like that. I suspect part of it has to do with why the page was protected in the first place. One thing I would like to do is to bring this article up to a shine. I encourage you to create a Wikipedia account so it's easier for you to contribute. Another way to contribute is to add references in the {{refideas}} template I added to the top of the talk page so I can more quickly get things in. SWinxy (talk) 02:49, 10 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The “Cancel” and Chance “Roll” series used aleatoric techniques using participants to toss a die or roll a roulette wheel, to determine the number of layers of black paint or type of black that a canvas or work on paper was to receive[2]. The series each consists of a variety of sizes of paintings, drawings, works on papers, photo documentation and studies. Stamm’s work also included photographic documentations of his street art he titled “Designators” at site-specific installations of graffiti tags around New York City [2] Stamm's innovations have not gone unnoticed, his work has been included in exhibitions around the world[3].

I've implemented what I felt was appropriate 1-2 weeks ago, and excluded what was puffery. Tone is important, so things like Stamm’s work has been included in solo and group exhibitions in the United States and around the world are not neutral, and read like a fan would write. The protection ends on the 8th, meaning you will be able to edit the article as you wish. So here's the deal: you make edits directly to the page, and I'll alter them if I need to. But in general, as someone who is interested in Stamm, you should be able to edit with the knowledge of policies like WP:NPOV and guidelines like WP:WTW. If you can find time, great. I've removed the YOB for now, and the second {{cn}} wasn't necessary due to there actually being a source.
