I would would like to know more about him and his theories on modern democracy

IQ of Africans[edit]

IQ of Finns is probably correct, but IQ of Africans definitely can't be between 60-70, since that would make them imbeciles, or to precise, such claim would state that average African has mental capabilities equal to dumbest 2,5% of white people. I haven't yet read Vanhanen's books, but reference to those claims are definitely necessity in this context. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.162.101.122 (talk) 14:07, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't an article about the IQ of Africans, but an article about Tatu Vanhanen. All that is needed is a reference that verifies he made such a remark, which is already included. Whether it is true or not is irrelevant.--XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO (talk) 22:50, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If a child took an adult IQ test and scored far below the adult mean, would that mean that the child is an imbecile? No, it wouldn't. Crusty wallace (talk) 00:57, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Intelligence Citations Bibliography for Articles Related to Human Intelligence[edit]

You may find it helpful while reading or editing articles to look at a bibliography of Intelligence Citations, posted for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human intelligence and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library at a university with an active research program in these issues (and to another library that is one of the ten largest public library systems in the United States) and have been researching these issues since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research. You can help other Wikipedians by suggesting new sources through comments on that page. It will be extremely helpful for articles on human intelligence to edit them according to the Wikipedia standards for reliable sources for medicine-related articles, as it is important to get these issues as well verified as possible. It is especially important to get facts right in an article about a living person. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk) 16:50, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's a nice politically correct list; missing most of the major figures in psychometrics, but nice. -
The latest updates to the previously linked source list continue to include talk page links so that other Wikipedians can suggest sources to add to the list (as happens from time to time). Another source list that you may find helpful while reading or editing articles is a bibliography of Anthropology and Human Biology Citations, posted for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human genetics and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library system at a university with an active research program in these issues (and to other academic libraries in the same large metropolitan area) and have been researching these issues sporadically since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research. You can help other Wikipedians by suggesting new sources through comments on that page. It will be extremely helpful for articles on human genetics to edit them according to the Wikipedia standards for reliable sources for medicine-related articles, as it is important to get these issues as well verified as possible. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 16:00, 28 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Police investigation[edit]

It actually seems the police didn't even start the investigation on him. The source used in this article [1] says is considering whether or not to launch a criminal investigation - it doesn't say they started it. An official statement from the Finnish police 12 October 2004 then says they didn't launch the preliminary investigation. Also I have no idea where this article has got the year 2002 for being the starting year of the "investigations". --Pudeo' 16:33, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
