Invalid references[edit]

The given references to José de Alencar's 1865 novel Iracema are incomplete (no page numbers), as well as not being properly formed references including publisher, ISBN, etc. The text was taken from a Google book preview. Worst of all, Iracema is a work of fiction - we don't know how much of it is interpolated, and how much is historical fact. Unless the book itself is footnoted, and those references can be found, read, verified, translated and pulled into the article, the article as it stands is unsourced. moving article[edit]

Tabajara people is not a good search term: users are likely looking for things like: Tabajara Indians, Indigenous people, Brazilian Indians, Amerindians, etc. In addition, usable sources refer to the Tabajaras as "indians". "People" is generic, when a more specific term is available. So moving page.Sbalfour (talk) 17:06, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted your move because you announced it then immediately moved it without discussion. The word "Indians" is capitalized in English, so "Tabajara indians" isn't going to fly. "People" is the preferred term for ethnic groups on Wikipedia. I'm personally not against using the term "Indians" in article titles but unfortunately many others are, so it's a guarantee that someone else would make a unilateral term back to "people" sooner or later, e.g. [1], [2], [3], etc. -Uyvsdi (talk) 00:22, 20 January 2014 (UTC)Uyvsdi[reply]
