It has been suggested that this article should be merged into the TV 2 (Denmark) article. No grounds were specified. I would like to object such a merger. The eight TV 2 regions are separated from the national channel, although they do co-operate. TV 2 is a limited company solely funded by advertising, while the regions are separate and receive funding the license fee.

You can also see some similarities with local affiliates of American networks as well as British ITV and BBC regions, who all have separate articles. Finally, considering how extensive this article is, there appears to be enough information about TV 2/Østjylland to motivate a separate article. Väsk 13:36, 17 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
