Past tense[edit]

The end of the lead says "...with 104 athletes expected to participate." The 2012 Olympics happened 2 years ago - this should be changed to past tense. But I can't find a source saying how many athletes actually ended up participating: did 104 athletes participate, as originally expected? Can anyone find a source?
