International Nudibranch Day is March 6th -- really?[edit]

Online I can't find any mentions of this supposed day, except for this Wikipedia article. Although nudibranch lovers may WISH there was an International Nudibranch Day, I don't believe there is one (yet).

This article will end up deleted unless one or more references in reliable third party sources can be found to support it. Otherwise it will be considered a hoax and deleted for that reason.

Contested deletion[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as pure vandalism or a blatant hoax, because... let me do a little more research. If there are opisthobranch meet-ups and symposia, then I may be able to simply MOVE this article to a more suitable title and expand it. Invertzoo (talk) 18:11, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Moved to a different title[edit]

I think we can rescue this article -- I have changed the emphasis to something quite respectable -- a more general topic. Invertzoo (talk) 18:21, 6 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

List completeness[edit]

The list of symposia and workshops stops in 2016 (listing a future workshop in 2018). I suspect this list is incomplete, but it seems like this may be pretty difficult to maintain, and the rest of the page is a brief summary of opisthobranchs and "Sea Slug Day", which isn't actually a symposium or workshop (I can't find similar WP pages with similar scopes for comparison). I wonder if it'd be better to delete to avoid it beicoming actively misleading over time? T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 05:23, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
