Voir dire[edit]

What differentiates this information from that in voir dire? Could it be merged? Jesuschex 04:31, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it can be merged well, but certainly a reference to voir dire can be added here. Voir dire is a part of the process of forming a jury, and it is used whether a struck jury is used or one of the alternatives is used. So I've added the reference. GRBerry 12:55, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also there are many other circumstances in which a voir dire can/should be used. Metamagician3000 10:08, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sections Needed[edit]

At least two more sections are needed: United Kingdom and Major/Famous cases. I know there is content for both sections but didn't get either written last night. GRBerry 17:09, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A lead case for the famous cases - trial of John Peter Zenger in ~1736 GRBerry 22:22, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
