Differing dates for the composition of String Quartet No. 2 (Borodin)[edit]

Sources give variously 1881, 1885 (both the MusicWeb Classpedia page, and 1885 in music), or even 1881-7 (Oxford Concise Dictionary) for dates of completion for Borodin's 2nd Quartet. I admit in writing the article I went the wrong way about it, depending on an apparent consensus of available articles. Will check the score at the library or the Dover edition published a few years ago (unless someone reading this has a copy, of course.) Schissel : bowl listen July 5, 2005 02:35 (UTC)

Prose[edit]

Schissel, the style of the prose is somewhat idiosyncratic for an encyclopedia. I'm not bothered much by it, but someone willing may want to recast parts of the musical analysis. - Gyan 02:30, 16 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Too limited information for the third movement[edit]

The analysis of the other movements are great and very helpful. Is it possible that anybody can write about the third movement? Thanks!

The third more popular than the second movement?[edit]

I see… 🤔 GianMarco Tavazzani (talk) 13:37, 12 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
