The Sun's tracklisting[edit]

Many people would have seen this [1] article from The Sun on the 28th July 2006. The reason why I've taken this tracklisting out of the article, is because I think it's important to keep some kind of accuracy in it. I know the page makes clear that speculative information could be included in the article, but I don't think every piece of baseless speculation should be used.

Also, it has to be said that The Sun isn't the most reputable source in the world when it comes to these type of things. Notice the article doesn't feature one quote, or one source. Also, there is one notable absense which make it very hard to believe that this is a tracklist that the band have chosen. Two words: Live Forever. It's been mentioned on countless occasions over the bands career their fondness for that songs and especially in the case of Liam and Noel Gallagher, who I think it's fair to suggest would have the most influence in choosing this tracklist. Also, the article claims that The Boy With the Blues is a Noel song, whereas it's been confirmed many times by the band that it is in fact a Liam song.--Mr. Monobrow 23:16, 28 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Evil Girl[edit]

Anyone know about an alternative cover for this album featuring an 'Evil Girls' partial face? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.10.127.58 (talk) 22:33, 18 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

Sales Figures?[edit]

Are there any sources for those sales figures. 850,000 in the UK seems a bit high considering Don't Believe The Truth only sold 1.1 million there and that was actually a studio album and that was all of 18 months ago.--Play Brian Moore 01:47, 27 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removed criticism[edit]

Not because I don't believe there is any criticism about the album, but because it seemed awfully POV, and there was some random stuff about Liam announcing an actual greatest hits... odd. -Ally 20:14, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:RKID35TPX.jpg[edit]

Image:RKID35TPX.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

this page sounds like it was written by an advertiser or extreme fanatic, especially the opening. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.53.51.183 (talk) 18:11, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. I've tagged it appropriately. Wwwhatsup (talk) 05:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

New sections?[edit]

Maybe it would be a good idea to add a "background" section with what's in the introduction. I mean, the introduction is long compared to articles about more important albums like Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band or even other compilation albums like Greatest Hits (Queen album).

Also, a "reception" section would be great. The "Professional ratings" infobox seems out of place in this article.

I can do it if you feel it's okay.
