I'd like to 'chat' with the writer of this article if possible. I visited Mr. and Mrs. Stillman at their home in the early 70s. I'd like to share and discuss my visit. 74.243.189.48 (talk) 14:17, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The writer(s) of the article are always around. Anyone, as in anyone in the world with access to the website, can edit the article. If you'd like to add something that's not specifically your point of view, feel free to discuss it here. OlYellerTalktome 15:44, 20 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright[edit]

Content in this article directly duplicates this application with the National Register of Historic Places. (I have confirmed copying as of this edit. Prior content may also be problematic.) I'm afraid that while documents of the U.S. government are largely ineligible for copyright, this does not include content they host that has been prepared by others--in this case, by Virginia H. Adams et. al, employees of the Public Archaeology Laboratory, which is not a federal institution and hence fully qualified to hold copyright in its content. We have verified via communication with the Archivist for the National Register of Historic Places that the text in these documents is not public domain (authorized individuals may view that e-mail at Ticket:2011012910008184). The article needs to be rewritten, excising any content copied from that document or any others which are not compatibly licensed or public domain, unless permission is provided by the actual copyright holders via an e-mail to the Wikimedia Foundation. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:44, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Always so thorough. Thanks Moon. OlYellerTalktome 20:54, 29 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The content from those documents are sourced and referenced throughout. Also, the contents of this site has also been created from the contents of Stillman Hosue (Litchfield). That site is being redirected to this one. It is fine to delete that site if necessary. My direct email is kmsena@gmail.com. thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.86.90.142 (talk) 23:10, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The problem here is that content is copied and closely derived from this application with the National Register of Historic Places. We cannot use that content until the verification process is complete. The process is described on the face of the article and at your talk page. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials, if you are the copyright owner, or Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission if you are not. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 23:16, 30 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Contested content has been removed — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kmsena (talkcontribs) 22:00, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stillman House (Litchfield) was also created by me, and I have redirected that page to this one

Also, sources are all listed, so please remove that warning, please — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kmsena (talkcontribs) 22:02, 4 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
