Canada: Television Low‑importance

Chris Hyndman[edit]

Although the show is currently on hiatus for obvious reasons, I wanted to quickly clarify the reasons why we are not yet considering this to be a cancelled or finished TV series for our purposes on Wikipedia.

The CBC has stated that the show is suspended for now, and have not yet made a formal announcement of what will happen in the future. There are several possibilities: it could be cancelled outright, in which case it will become a permanently ended series; or Steven Sabados could decide to continue the show on his own or with a new cohost, in which case we would simply move this article to the new title, and update it for the change, rather than creating a whole new article about the show's new title; or he could leave the show while the CBC picks new hosts to keep a new show going in its place, in which case we would "end" this show and start a new article about its replacement. But we need confirmation from the CBC about the final decision before we decide what to do here.

So for the moment, the show is still considered to just be on hiatus, and is not yet cancelled outright — so it should not be denoted as an ended series until we have more information than we do right now. Bearcat (talk) 18:03, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
