Child abuse (NOT BY GOLDIN)[edit]

Does anybody have any material in regards to Goldin's involvement with child abuse? Thanks --Tom 13:23, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like Goldin has a step son who was abused [1]. Do we know what Goldin's involvement with this was?--Tom 14:00, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Correct. So far, we have material at Walter H. Breen, which is not well sourced and not well written. The link provided here, of course, is not a reliable source, but presumably there are public records for the court case. I dont like to mess with talk page contents, but the first sentence here should be rewritten to remove any implication that Goldin was himself an abuser, as there is no evidence for that and the language here is ambivalent at best. Per BLP, im tempted to remove the sentence entirely, but have changed the title of this talk section.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 06:59, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

he's a LIBERAL and an ATHEIST[edit]

Stephen Goldin himself admits on his blog: "I'm an atheist, and very liberal, both politically and socially." And even more shockingly, he writes: "I'm an atheist, and I get very upset at times over the complete stupidity of believers. In fact, stupidity of all sorts gets me upset." This information should be included into the Wikipedia article. Source: http://stephengoldin.blogspot.com/ 93.219.178.83 (talk) 17:43, 9 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it probably should be in the article, if anyone thinks it's important enough. But what the heck makes his statements an "admission" or "shocking"? So he has strong opinions. So what? There are plenty of atheists, liberals, and people judgmental of believers in the world. You might just as well say that he admits being born in Pennsylvania, and, even more shockingly, Philadelphia!
