Untitled[edit]

As a graduate of SUNYIT, I am very disappointed in the Alumni assocation. I called the Alumni office about a year ago to see if we had an alumni directory publication. I was informed that the last time it was updated was 1998.-The comment was made anonymously by 199.43.48.26 at 13:46, 4 November 2006.

Alumni Association, Athletics[edit]

I plan to trim down the section on the Alumni Association. It is disproportionately large, and is very specific to events on specific dates that have little impact afterwards.

There should also be a section on the Athletics department. Though I personally am not a fan of Athletics, the department is often a public face for the school to other schools in SUNYAC. Boter 18:03, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

tv anchor[edit]

do u have tv anchoring???that's my goal/dream job.please respond back if u do and if not please do let me know what colleges in new york or queens would have it.supergirlatyoureservice@yahoo.com

They do not. Check here on how to become an anchor. For New York State Colleges, i recommend looking into journalism degrees. here is a sample job listing - Bud0011 (talk) 20:20, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Student Association[edit]

I restored the Student Association section. Please do not remove it without justifying the removal.

In the restoration, I took out the SA Forum mention as it has not been trafficked in a long time, but inserted information on regional events that Student Association holds. If anyone has any other event ideas, you are welcome to insert them. I feel that this section on student life is important as the academics at a school are, by most peoples' admission, important but not everything that goes on at a school. Please stop removing the Student Association section without justification. Continue to do so and I'll look into reporting it as vandalism. Additionally, if someone knowledgeable could get at least something back in there about Alumni Association (shouldn't be as big as the old revision), that'd be great.
