Penelope Johnson and Sir Joshua Reynolds.[edit]

Penelope Johnson nee Phipps was born 1775, married Daniel Johnson in 1806 and died 1814. It may be that Sir Joshua Reynolds who died in 1792 was related to the Johnson family per https://archive.org/stream/pedigreesfivede01colbgoog#page/n36/mode/2up/search/joshua+reynolds but I suspect he did not visit Penelope. This information seems to have been copied word for word from https://www.stmichaelstorrington.org.uk/great-torrington-church.html and doesn't seem reliable --Matilda ^talk 03:44, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
