I wonder whether this is the correct name for this article. Much of it is about Scholefield, WP:NMUSIC#Songs suggests that songs themselves may not be sufficiently notable to deserve articles. I propose, therefore, that it may be appropriate to move this article to Clement Scholefield. Longwayround (talk) 12:20, 14 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Let me suggest that Scholefield is not notable without "St. Clement" and that if there is to be a merger, it should be the other way around with Scholefield's biography merged here. (It's now a redirect in any case.)--John Foxe (talk) 18:42, 21 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
And in my opinion, since the tune has been performed at certain major historical events (my case in point, the Handover of Hong Kong) which can fulfill GNG then there is no reason why it should be merged into the author's page (or lack of as it appears).
