test scores listed[edit]

I don't know enough about the standardized testing done in the public schools in Saugerties to edit this fully. However, the sentence regarding St. Mary of the Snow's higher test scores than the nearby public schools needs clarification. I don't know what an ELA is that is currently referenced in the article, so I can't speak to that nor clarify it in the article. But my understanding of private schools is that they don't have students take the same standardized tests as students in public schools do, so how can the article say that the children at St. Mary's of the Snow do better if the tests are not the same? The current reference listed is a New York Times report of test scores at surrounding schools, but it doesn't have St. Mary of the Snow's scores listed.

I'm adding a "citation needed" on this page regarding St. Mary of the Snow's test scores. Mel21clc (talk) 22:10, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
