POV[edit]

This article seems too highly in praise of this high school. I know very little about the school itself, but some of the praise here seems a bit much.Mipchunk 15:06, 8 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Then go flag every single other high school entry out there. Or you could edit it.

Well, I actually most of the entries for schools (high school or college) are pretty good. When I have time, I'll see what I can do. Mipchunk 03:04, 10 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

When you have enough time? You already seem to have enough time to read through every high school and college entry on this site. I've read the article through a couple of times and I don't see where there is too much praise lavished on the school. In fact, I think it's somewhat of a fascist organization. The only part of the article that I think is legitimate to change is the "mighty SA Spurs" part, which I put in because the Spurs are my favorite NBA team.

Anyhoo, if you have enough time to flag my article for neutrality, you probably have enough time to remove any unfair superlatives, yes? Get a life, buddy.

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. However, I must at least stress that you cannot take personal offense when somebody makes or proposes changes to an article you started. The article is subject to the collective review of Wikipedians. The primary changes I would make would be a shortening the athletics section. I would follow the standard Wikipedia school template - that is, I would discuss the athletics of the school in general, such as what teams are offered in the school, what the athletic requirements are for students, and then, of course, a summary of the school's athletic achievements. I don't take personal offense when a criticism is legitimate. You are correct that the article is subject to the collective review of other users of this website. However, your review of my article was a bit ridiculous. You flagged it as in violation of the neutral point of view policy, but have demonstrated that you cannot clearly articulate what exactly in the article violated this policy. You have said "the praise seems a bit much;" that is the closest you have come to explaining why you flagged this. Then, after I called you out for being incredibly vague about why you flagged this article, you just suggested some changes in the way I structure a particular section of the article. What the hell does that have to do with Point of View? You flagged this article for neutrality. You did not flag it for not following some arbitrary template in one particular section.

Please, either refer specifically to demonstrably biased parts of this article so that they can be fixed (and this article placed into a category in which it belongs, as opposed to the "Articles which may be biased" category), or remove your flag from this article and remove this article from the "Articles which may be biased" category.

I put back the rugby reference. Not sure why it was deleted.Monkeythumpa 19:15, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The school does not currently field a rugby team. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sjnd (talkcontribs) 22:49, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I went to this high school and the article seems very close to what we were taught about the history of the school. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.109.7.133 (talk) 07:53, 6 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Demographics[edit]

It is not entirely clear whether the diversity figures reflect those of the school, the Bay Area, or both. Mannanan51 (talk) 23:35, 6 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
