Note on scope of article[edit]

There was a "St Gregory's Academy" which the FSSP ran in Elmhurst, PA, between 1993 and 2012. In response to the FSSP's decision to close the school, some members of the school community decided to found a new school, the "Gregory the Great Academy", which still exists to this day. However, while the current school sees the earlier school as part of its heritage, according to a CNA article, there is no official link between the two. As such, I don't think it is appropriate to make this article about the current school, which is an officially distinct institution. This article is only about the 1993–2012 school. If people want to create a separate article about the current school, they are free to do so. SomethingForDeletion (talk) 04:43, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
