Ziemia and powiat

Hmmm, I am not sure if the pl wiki is correct when it states that powiat = land in this case. It has no reference, and in sources I see this:

• Stefan Warchoł (1967). Gwary dawnej Ziemi Stęz̊yckiej. Zakład Narodowy im. Ossolińskich.: "W skład Ziemi Stężyckiej wchodzą: powiat Ryki, południowa część powiatu garwoliriskiego, zachodnia część powiatu łukowskiego oraz południowo-zachodni skrawek powiatu radzyńskiego"

The book cited here refers to counties which existed in 1967, not in the Kingdom of Poland. Anyway I will look for some references. Tymek (talk) 04:39, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
