natural vs physical[edit]

The references currently in the article from the 19th and early 20th centuries use the term "natural" to differentiate from the "spirit" world. There has been an inclination among editors to use the word 'physical' rather than 'natural'. Can anyone explain this? Recent broad terms related to the subject are paranormal, supernatural and metaphysical, but there is no scientific basis for choosing one term over the other. Yet, the term 'supernatural' appears to have a use that most closely relates to the common ideas of Spiritualism. Either way it seems to me to be a matter of personal preference. Most importantly, because the early literature uses the word 'natural' it seems reasonable to me that 'natural' replace the word 'physical'. - Steve3849 ^talk 13:34, 1 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The spirit world V.S. the spirit realm[edit]
