Clean up the page

Guys, I'm no moderator, and I hate to say this, but the page's grammar is deplorable at best. A seven-year old could spell better than what I've seen. This is an official encyclopedia website, not MySpace or Facebook or whatever chatline site people are obsessed with these days! 142.26.133.248 (talk) 18:31, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Um, the DS version has been called the best

Why does it say it's gotten the most negative reviews? In fact, it has the most positive reviews! 79% and 78.7% on metacritic and gamerankings respectivley (which is well over 10% more than the other versions) and an 80%+ from IGN, G4, GameSpot, and a whopping 90% from GameSpy. Someone should fix the reception part, it's all screwed up. DS FTW BTW. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Phazon eater (talkcontribs) 08:36, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

This is the second Spider-Man game in a row that has featured Venom as the Final Boss

What game is this talking about? I don't recall a spiderman game with Venom as the final boss apart from Spiderman 3 Game Last Bosses Spider-man (PS1) Doc Ock / Carnage / Monster Oc (count as a boss?) Spider-man 2 : Enter Electro (ps1) Electro / Super Electro Spider-man : The Movie Green Goblin Spider-man 2 Doc Ock Spiderman 3 Venom / Sandman

Venom did feature as a boss twice in the first original playstation spiderman game, but he wasn't the final boss. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Alkobob (talkcontribs) 21:45, 14 May 2007 (UTC).

I am the one who wrote that and I was speaking of Ultimate Spider-Man. The game that came out prior to this one.

Playable Scorpion??

Since when is the scorpion playable?

The Scorpian is playable during a mini game that involves him escaping his captors.

will it be on ps2

well will it —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.187.194.74 (talk) 15:52, 22 December 2006 (UTC).

It's very unlikely. Even the Wii's graphical power has a mighty edge over the PS2 and the XBox 360 and PS3 possess an even wider gap. It would be pretty pointless to develop for a system which is, in all likelyhood, going to be dead within a year or two. I'm guessing that most of the titles we'll see from now on which are released for PS2 will be ports from Japan. The backwards compatability of PS3 will give the PS2 some leeway. 151.151.21.103 19:57, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

In a interveiw that just realeased the guy said it WILL be on ps2 and most other consles exept the Gamecube

Gamestop has it currently listed for the PS2, as well as the PS3.

I don't know how old these comments are, but it is on PS2.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 21:58, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

playstation 2

according to gamestop the game will released for playstation 2. http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=B281685A

All the villains

I've found out who the 10 villains are going to be in the game:

  • 1. Venom
  • 2. Harry Osborn
  • 3. Sandman
  • 4. Shocker
  • 5. Scorpion
  • 6. Kraven
  • 7. Rhino
  • 8. Carlyle
  • 9. Lizard
  • 10. Electro

11 and 12 if you count Morbius and Shriek on the Wii. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.37.71.159 (talk) 03:28, 16 February 2007 (UTC).

And the PSP and PS2 versions. And somebody called Harry Osborn the Hobgoblin, not the New Goblin. Ggctuk 07:47, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Two things, one where did you get this becuase I personally think it is false and second who is Carlyle because I have never heard of he/she before. Could you explain? ManofSTEEL2772 April 3 2007

Hey somewhere I heard that Hydro-Man was the final villain, has anyone else heard that. I know its probaly wrong but that would be cool if it was. ManofSTEEL2772 April 8 9:52

i just cant believe we're all gonna have to fight the shocker AGAIN. and hydro-man? first ive heard about him being in the game. i think its a mistake. Tryzon 18:25, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

First of all Carlyle is the man who kidnaps Jameson in that battle suit. Secondly, Shocker and Hydro-man are not in the game. Thirdly, Morbius and Shriek ARE ONLY ON THE WII.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 14:25, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Wrong I have the PS2 version and their in it. Sean 22:35, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

I think anyone can see that this is article is virtually an advertisement. It's almost completely copy-pasted from the press release. I think that should be worked on. Avatar Sokka 19:30, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Avatar Sokka

I agree. This article is an advertisement. The info from the advertisement should be reworded so that it doesn't sound like a press release.

Collector's Edition

On the IGN page, it says that the collector's edition is only for PS3. The part of the article saying it is for Wii as well should be taken off unless someone finds proof that it's for Wii too.

Black Spider-Man?

This is ridiculous. Since when is Symbiote Spider-Man ever referred to as Black Spider-Man? The Ðark Crusader 21:51, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

For real. Most people who have never heard of the Black Suit would probably understand what it is when they hear Black Suit, but I personally think Alien Symbiot better fits the category. Maybe after where ever it says black suit in the article you should put in parenthises:or Alien Symbiote.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 13:11, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

I guess its just easier for people that haven't read the comics to remember. Half the people that are going to watch the movie haven't even heard about spider-man until the first movie came out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.230.107.114 (talkcontribs)

I dissagree with that. I think everyone who knows about comics knows about Spider-man. As for Black Spider-Man, why not? He's in a black suit, sure it's the Symbiote but it's still black and since the Symbiote can change colour that's a big deal. ≈ Seraph 18:05, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

I doubt they would want to see a movie they about a character they have never heard of, but it is a possibility.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 14:14, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Just a note, but when I seen the movie there were surveys to fill out detailing it as BLACK suit. I write over it "symbiote" but, is that what they are calling it now? that would be an insult in my opinion out of darkness, out of mind: 08:03, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Well that is what they're calling it on the trailer for the game that is showing on the tv now.

Just because it's on TV doesn't mean it's right. It was clearly referred to in the comics as the alien costume. If this is a movie based on the comics than the black suit isn't the correct title for the symbiot.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 18:40, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

I think it should be called Venom Spideman as he alien symbiote is called Venom

Don't erase Kraven and Carlyle

Don't erase them from the character list. I have proof they're in the game: http://www.achieve360points.com/game/spiderman3/ —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 12.37.71.172 (talk) 01:14, 4 April 2007 (UTC).

THATS AWESOME!!!! ManofSTEEl2772

yerr for the people who do not wish to acpet OMGAWSOME as a point, Carlyle is infact the Mad Bomber. out of darkness, out of mind: 08:09, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Gamecube?

Is it not going to be available for gamecube???? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.226.92.174 (talk) 01:05, 18 April 2007 (UTC).

Unfortunately, Gamecube is obsolete and irrelevant to the game developers. 199.247.235.10 01:56, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

In fact, they are not making any gamecube games anymore, nintendo will be making wii games, but since nintendo manufactures wiis so slowly, not a lot of people can get their hands on one. It took me months to track down a wii before I got one. --Gundor Twintle Fluffy 13:12, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

i added something

I have made an addition to the wii version section. It says that spiderman cannot enter the subway. Please do not erase it, I remember reading an article about a day ago, talking about the differences of the newest generation console versions of the game. I just don't remember where it is. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.170.44.145 (talk) 22:37, 24 April 2007 (UTC).

Does the PS2 have the subways???????

1up says differently [[1]]

I have Spiderman 3 for the Wii and this is in the game, therefore the comment should be left as is.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 13:13, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

John Cena? WTF?

Can anyone confirm Cena's voice over in this game please? IMDB has nothing so until I get 100% confirmation it shouldn't be taken as fact. 203.211.112.57 07:31, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

whos voice would he be?

No cinimatics change

I changed the part of the trivia section that said there will be no cinimatics except for the interactive ones. Ive played the game and there are plenty of cut scenes. Actually theres more that in any other spider-man game in my opinion. So dont change it please. And the interactive things aren't really cut scenes at all, there just really random button pressing mini games. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.69.65.165 (talk) 01:21, 3 May 2007 (UTC).

There is a difference between a cutscene and a cinematic. A cutscene is where the graphics remain the same, and there is a short conversation, moment, etc. A cinematic is when the graphics greatly improve, and the movement appears different. The only reason these impressive graphics are not in game, is because a normal system cannot generate these graphics fast enough to keep up with the pace of the player. So technically what they said is true.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 13:14, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

Review

There is a review available at the website of the UK Official Xbox Magazine. I would add it directly to the article myself, but I figured creating a "Critical reaction" section only to list a single 5/10 review might not be too good an idea, until there are more reviews out there. [2] --Dreaded Walrus 16:00, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

There is now a review up on Eurogamer, too, along with a few other places, probably. [3] 6/10. --Dreaded Walrus 17:17, 4 May 2007 (UTC)

New features

Anyone can put anything new that they have heard about in this section:

  • There IS subways in the PS2 version
  • Kirsten Dunst will NOT be voiceing Mary Jane in the game
  • The city is 2.5 times larger than the second Spider-Man Game

Where cabn you enter the subways? I beat story omde and i'm bored. All of the places around town are caged up! I forgot where i went to find sandman maybe there's an entrance there. Well please help!

I am sure that there are no subways on the Wii/PS2 version, but haven't heard anything of the 360/PS3 version.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 17:27, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

The quotes are from the X360/PS3 version or the PS2/PSP/Wii version? or both? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tomkurts (talkcontribs) 17:33, 8 May 2007 (UTC).

Due to all of the publicity the 360/PS3 version is receiving, I'd say 360/PS3.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 17:26, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Rofl Copter

In the Trivia - References section, the article says it refers to the internet term 'ROFL'. This is only partially true, the term it is likely referring to is 'ROFLcopter'. The origin of 'ROFLcopter' is in the sound of repetedly saying the 'word' ROFL. I will demonstrate: ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL. I first saw the term ROFLcopter a year or two ago, well before it was seen in this game. OriginalPiMan 04:43, 10 May 2007 (UTC)

Kingpin

All the Marvel Movies are in the same saga. Which Kingpin do wee see, White Comic Fisk or Black Michael Clarke Duncan? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.107.220.199 (talk) 17:50, 11 May 2007 (UTC).

White. And there has been no proof thus far that the universes and canon of the new Marvel-focused movies are interlocking in any way, and this seems to confirm it. Spider-Man: The New Animated Series, which follows the first movie and features Clarke Duncan as Kingpin, was already showed to be non-canonical anyway. -- Viewdrix 19:16, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

How does using the white Kingpin confirm this? Just because the game uses him doesn't mean the movie would (If Sam Raimi ever thought of incorporating him that is). As of this moment there is neither proof nor lack of proof that the marvel heroes don't live in the same universe (although it has been confirmed that Iron-Man, Thor, Hulk and Captain America do, and there is a reference to Dr Strange in Spiderman 2 but whether he's a fictional character or actually exists in Spiderman's world isn't made clear. Given the interconnective world of Marvel superheroes I'm going to say the latter). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.176.192.101 (talk) 22:40, 8 November 2009 (UTC)

BlackCat

Hey is she in the game too, I thought I seen her in the trailer with a new outfit and longer hair. Johnny542 23:42, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

No. The people in the list are in the game. -- Viewdrix 23:48, 11 May 2007 (UTC)

Black cat has a cameo in the shriek warehouse level!!!! When you hear all of the random voices black cat says "You have so much power... why not use it freely?" Which she said in the 2nd game! Same voice as 2nd game too!

No the voice was from Shriek I think and who the hell was that women in black with white hair if that wasn't Blackcat? Johnny542 21:33, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

Oh wait that women in black with white hair is a gang leader, heh my bad. Johnny542 19:05, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Venom

I read that venom was an unlockable character. Is this true or just a rumor

This is true, Venom is accessable once a player has completed the game, provided the player locates all of the meteor fragments.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 14:15, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
I too have heard of this but I've yet to see any proof -SSJ Gokan 00:36, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
No, otherwise he'd be listed as such in the article. -- Viewdrix 00:37, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
He is currently listed in the article, but I have removed it. Feel free to add it back if there is proof. Arielguzman 02:42, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes he is. I know someone who unlocked him on the PS3 version. You have to collect 100 meteorites. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 4.229.168.173 (talk) 03:15, 14 May 2007 (UTC).

He is able to be unlocked. I know this to be true. But he was deleted again. It is not a rumor. Go check it on all the cheat code sites. Or play the game and find out for yourself. I'm gonna put him back on, so please don't delete him.

Somebody did it again. They deleted him. Somebody put him back on there cause I am not doing it any more.

Thankyou

It is merely a rumor that he is to be unlocked after getting all 100 meteorites. If anyone has proof that he is the unlockable then please show it otherwise until it is proven he is whom/what you unlock after getting all the meteorites then no-one can be sure.

WE NEED PROOF!!!!!!!!

What proof is needed? Whom do I give it to?

This isn't a rumor! I have beat the game and unlocked venom myself! If you need proof here it is.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 14:30, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

I'm curious about Venom's (un)availablity as well. Personally, I think some kind of picture would serve as proof. Even if you have to take a picture of your TV screen. =P (If you have the PC version, then take a screeshot.)

I'm one of the people that keeps deleting it. My reasoning for doing so is documented below under the Venom Hoax: List of baddies in each version. Until there is proof, I am going to keep on deleting it. For proof I would like to see a video of you playing as venom posted on You Tube, or some type of equivalent proof.Bridger.anderson 16:55, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

will it be on xbox?

it doesnt say its on xbox in the article, will it be on xbox? - kozmic|sk8r 01:05, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Well if your talking about old Xbox, no. They don,t make games for old Xbox any more.

why not? the xbox is newer than the ps2! why the hell wouldnt they make xbox games anymore?!? - kozmic|sk8r 01:19, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Because there's the Xbox 360. -- Viewdrix 01:29, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

its on the ps2 and ps3, why cant it be on xbox and xbox 360?- kozmic|sk8r 01:42, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

It is on the 360. Just not the old Xbox

i know that, i meant why cant it be on both - kozmic|sk8r 02:17, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Because Microsoft decided to focas all their time and money on the 360. The only reason Sony decided keep making PS2 games is because it is still selling well. Probely because the PS3 is not so popular right now.

If Microsoft decided to focus all of their time and money on the 360, they won't be doing so good. For the graphics to be good on 360 you have to have an HD TV. That's an extra 300$ right there.

that sucks! i want 2 get spiderman 3 but i dont have 700 bucks 2 get an xbox 360, - kozmic|sk8r 07:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

The 360 is only 400$

Not where I live and probably not where he lives either. I got my wii, for example, for somewhere around 480 usd. A PS3 is, if I remember, more than a thousand.

What does any of this have to do with this article? It won't be on Xbox. The "why's" and "what-ifs" and pricing points of the Xbox 360 do not belong on this talk page. Onikage725 23:53, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

They're talking about what platforms the game will be on, not just about Xbox. I was hoping it would come on Xbox as well, but since it didn't, I got it for Wii.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 14:18, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Connections to previous appearances?

Scorpian, Rino, and Kraven have all appeared in previous games, Spider-man: the Movie, and Spider-man 2. While Kraven seems similar to his appearance in the Xbox version Spider-man the movie, Scorpian and Rino don't seem to resemble them at all. I wanted to know if these were different people using the same name, if they were the same people just with extreme changes to their general fetures and stories, or if they were just scrapping the verions of them that have already appeared in the series? If they are unrealated I think it's worth noting in this aritcle. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.3.72.133 (talk) 02:22, 15 May 2007 (UTC).

They are all based of the same people so it don't matter if their backstory is different in the game.

PC specs

shouldn't the PC specs be listed?

No. It is exactly the same as the 360 version.

He meant the (PC's) specs required to run the game on a PC.

Well in that case I still say no. Because the article is about the game itself not what is needed to run it.

That's stupid. Other video games have PC specs/System Requirements listed in the sidebar alongside the other technical specifications. Why shouldn't this page list them? i.e. [4]

Indeed, Minimal requirements are an integral part of PC games, as without meeting those criteria, you can't play it. People do like to know when they read about a game they would like to try if they can play it. GodShiru 00:56, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Playable Charcters

I think that the other playable characters section should be brought back. After all the aricles for the other Spider-Man games have sections on unlockable costumes and characters. It dosn't mean they're game guides.

Play Goblin after the game is beaten??

Is it possible to play Harry after the game is beaten. (I know hes not dead but you can play the black suit after its destroyed.) The evil O,malley 04:10, 21 May 2007 (UTC)

No, you play as the New Goblin only in the PS3 when you beat him. It dosn't matter anyway since there is no longer a playable characters section and I don't think it will be brought back.

Notes about Characters

Shouldn't that be under the trivia section?

question

do pedestrians talk in the 360 version they are like brainless peopl i walk into one and the just slide over only the odd time have the dodged me

At least on the Wii/PS2 version the people actually talk. One guy even walked up to me and said "They should make a movie about Spider-man. Maybe even two or three."--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 14:26, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

The Lizard in the Next Film

Venom Hoax: List of baddies in each version

Before somebody deleted it, someone wrote this: A rumour, most likey started on IGN.com, stated that if the player collected all 100 metorite fragments scattterd around the city, Venom would become a playable character. Activision denied and it was proven untrue.

Format-exclusive villains Rhino, Kingpin, Scorpion & Calypso are exclusive to the PC, PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 versions of the game. Electro is exclusive to the Game Boy Advance version of the game. Shriek & Morbius are exclusive to the Wii & PlayStation 2 versions of the game. Kraven the Hunter is exclusive to the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii & PlayStation 2 versions of the game. Lizard is is on all versions of the game aside from the GBA version.

Who told you Morbius and Shriek are on PS2? They are only on Wii.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 21:50, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Youre wrong they are on the ps2 version Ive played it.TheManWhoLaughs 17:00, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Why was this important information removed? I think it is a good idea to infrom people the amount of content they would be receiving depending on which version of Spiderman 3 has these baddies. I think its vital that the "Venom Hoax" is put back. Droideka88 02:01, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Ya put the Venom hoax back, it's fooling people into beleiving he's playable. There have been longer tirm despute's about his status on cites such as ign.com, gamefaqs.com, and gamespot. Tt could be put under the trivia section and I suggest it go something like this: The character Venom was widely thought to be playable on the PS2 and Wii version ofthe game, by colecting all the meteorites. It was later denounced by Vicarious Visions saying "Since this was the first Spider-man game on the Wii, we wanted to focus on the gameplay, and didn't have time to focus on extra's like playable characters." Even still his status has caused dozens of debates on various video game websites, with their being equal amounts of one's that said he was playable, to ones that said he wasn't. The reason I think it needs inclusion is because, it was huge on the internet and let to huge disputes and forged pictures/ videos on most mager video game websites. Plus inclusion of this on an encyclopedic website would end all disputes.

Vicarious Visions didn't design the game. Treyarch did.

The Venom Hoax should be removed from the playable character section. It just doesn't belong there. The playable character section should be factual documentation. If you start trying to document "the fact that some people believed this rumor" then Wikipedia would instantly get filled up on the documentation of rumors. If you want a seperate section for "Spider-man 3 Disproven rumors" then start a seperate section, do not clog up useful sections with documentation of how something wasn't a fact. Bridger.anderson 20:33, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Console Differences

Does anyone find it stupid that the X360/PS3 version and the Wii/PS2 version are completely different games? They put the good version on X360/PS3 when more people have Wii/PS2's than X360/PS3. I hope they at least try to make them the same version next time.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 21:48, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Largely, the main differences are just graphics, which the 360/ps3 can handle and the ps2 and wii can not. Each set has a few exclusive elements (360/ps3 has some exclusive villains, as do ps2 and wii) for promotion.

Think of it this way: If they were all the exact same versions, the 360/ps3 graphics couldn't be utilized as they are the same versions for consoles that are more limited. Hence, just some slight differences. Though I do wish the same company did the game, instead of two different ones. 76.214.167.226 04:04, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Couldn't they have at least tried to make the graphics on Wii/PS2 better? I know they aren't as good as X360 or PS3 but they made this game look like it was on PS1(speaking of the Wii/PS2 version). If the developers of the Wii/PS2 version can't make better graphics than that, than they shouldn't be given the responsibility of making such a huge game.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 14:23, 17 June 2007 (UTC)

Kraven Differences

In the Wii and PS2 version, the cutscene depicts the Lizzard standing over a defeated Kraven, just before the battle. In stark contrast, in the PS3 and 360 version Kraven is standing over a defeated lizzard before the fight. I think that desirves mention, your thoughts?

I don't think it is worth mentioning in the article. If you are refering to the Differences from the Film section than no, because niether the Lizard or Kraven are in the film. Plus, you have your consoles mixed up. The Wii/PS2 version depicts Kraven standing over the Lizard.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 17:14, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

No I was just playing that vary fight on my PS3 and he was Standing over the lizzard, and I was playing the Wii one a couple days before and Lizzard was talking about what a fine Lizzard man he would make.I thought it would be good for a triva section.

I was just about to go prove you wrong and realized you were right. Sorry.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 18:59, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

It's fine I do that all the time.

Morbius and Shriek in the Story Missions?

I noticed that there is no mention of Morbius/Shriek's storyline (exclusive to the Wii/PS2 version) in the story missions section. I did add to it, but that was reverted by 12.37.71.155. What gives? 69.19.14.35 01:00, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Not trying to be mean, but I have seen no proof that Morbius and Shriek are on PS2. On the back of the case for the Wii version, it says "Exclusive to the Wii Morbius and Shriek". And I'm pretty sure he removed it because the storyline is based on all versions, not just the Wii and PS2.--Gundor Twintle Fluffy 19:01, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

"I have seen no proof that Morbius and Shriek are on PS2" Not trying to be mean, but comments like these are the problem with Wikipedia. You haven't seen proof, because you didn't look at for it in the most obvious place, which is of course the PS2 game. If you play the game from start to finish, you run into them in the storyline. What do you need for proof? Should someone YouTube a video of them hooking up a PS2 for you, inserting the game, and then playing the game non-stop until they reach those characters?

Well, using that logic, Scorpion, Kingpin, and DeWolfe should be removed, too, because they are not in all versions, either! 69.19.14.40 02:12, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

They are on PS2 I've played the game and beaten both of them on PS2.

I'm restoring the Morbius/Shriek storyline to the page. Those storylines are exclusive to the Wii/PS2 version. Although I don't have a Wii, I will have no problem taking a picture of my TV being hookedup in the background with Morbius/Shriek on the screen. Also note, Wiki says "13 Storylines" and w/o the Morbius/Shriek Storyline wiki is only at 12.69.146.89.204 23:44, 6 October 2007 (UTC)

Morbius and Shriek are on the PS2 game, I just played the fight against them a few moments ago. Sean 21:12, 19 June 2012 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sean199813 (talkcontribs)

Hey

Hey why they deleted the movie differnces to the game.

This page randomly gets pillaged, Venom Rumors get put on/taken off. Morbius/Shriek storylines get removed for no reason. I'd really like to have accurate information up and available, but some people on Wikipedia are dead set on removing useful information and giving absolutely no reason. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bridger.anderson (talkcontribs) 04:42, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Spider-Man 3 Box Art.jpg

Image:Spider-Man 3 Box Art.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Wii alternative ending

Unlike the PS2, Eddi Brock just loses control instead of being impaled by a steel bar? This is false, as in the ps2 version Eddie also dies by losing control. Or did the person who wrote this got them the wrong way round? Can anyone clear this up?

Eddie Brock beat up Spiderman?

Anyone else feel that it is extremely unlikely that Brock not only took down Spidey, but black suited spidey, and find it suspicious that this was not what was originally down? Can someone who has played the PS3 version please confirm this?

Slight Change

The PS3 has no "Platinum Hits" even the page says it is for Xbox360. I changed it to "Collectors Edition" since this is the one that says you can play as the New Goblin (24.127.61.186 (talk) 00:14, 3 February 2010 (UTC))
