Just making notes here:

  1. "Jandakot railway" branched from Fremantle-Woodman's Point line (at end Bull Road/Cockburn Road), proceeded ESE for 6 miles 40 chains, terminating near Forrest/Beenyup. (Jandakot Railway Act 1904 (No.17 of 1904), assented 16 January 1904)
  2. "Jandakot-Armadale railway" went ESE from Jandakot station to terminate on South Western Railway "in or near Armadale townsite" (Jandakot-Armadale Railway Act 1906 (No.25 of 1906), assented 14 December 1906)
  3. Railways (Standard Gauge) Construction Act 1961 (No 27 of 1961) assented 30 October 1961, authorises a railway from Kewdale to Kwinana.
  4. Bibra Lake-Armadale Railway Discontinuance and Land Revestment Act 1964 (No 30 of 1964) assented 4 November 1964 - s4 "On and from the date of the coming into operation of this Act the scheduled railway shall cease to be operated until the Governor otherwise declares." The Act applies to the railway from a point 31.1 km from Perth via Fremantle - this point corresponds with the end of Hatch Place (now Cascara Corner), Bibra Lake (462 A7 in Streetsmart). The 1972 street directory shows the railway had been dismantled from this point. This act was repealed by No.10 of 1970 (Statute Law Revision Act 1970)
  5. Previous act proclaimed on 12 March 1965 (1965:805)
  6. Stations on the line: Spearwood, Bibra Lake (32°06′30″S 115°49′38″E / 32.1082°S 115.8273°E / -32.1082; 115.8273), Jandakot (32°07′15″S 115°50′46″E / 32.1208°S 115.8462°E / -32.1208; 115.8462), Banjup (32°08′02″S 115°53′12″E / 32.1340°S 115.8867°E / -32.1340; 115.8867), Forrestdale, Westfield (32°08′51″S 115°58′16″E / 32.1474°S 115.9710°E / -32.1474; 115.9710).
  7. Statute Law Revision Act 1965 (No 57 of 1965) assented 19 November 1965 repealed "spent unnecessary or superseded enactments" - Second schedule repeals both above acts. Orderinchaos 01:36, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
