Would it not be more appropriate to cull the unnecessary detail, and merge the remains into the University of Southampton node? No, there's too much detail here to be merged into the main university page (which is pretty large as it stands anyway). I think that more of the union-specific information should go here. Sure, it's probably mostly of interests to students and alumni, but also may be of interest to a more general audience researching students' unions.
