Terrorist?[edit]

Surely this is a violation of NPOV so I have edited the section. Roger 09:32, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Decorations vs. Service Medals[edit]

The article title implies decorations, yet the text refers to numerous service medals, which are not decorations. Do we delete reference to service medals in the text or do we change the name of the article? Farawayman (talk) 11:20, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removing references to medals is probably the better option since Orders, decorations, and medals of South Africa already exists. --NJR_ZA (talk) 11:54, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Medals related to South African participation in World War II[edit]

Can we remove these images? Doesn't really add value to the article IMO Gbawden (talk) 06:46, 8 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the image of British ribbons is only of indirect relevance, and eight of the ribbons in it are incorrectly depicted anyway, so it's misleading. Medal ribbons in table?[edit]

I have been tinkering again. What do you think of the ribbons in the table? If you like I can do it for the rest, otherwise undo my change Gbawden (talk) 07:06, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Prefer your ribbons to the old one's in the grouped image. Were they all of different width - I would have thought that save for the highest decorations, most ribbons would have had the same dimensions? Farawayman (talk) 08:41, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks - I got the idea from the page on Afrikaans Wikipedia. Yes the medals had different ribbon widths. CGH 44m, LWD 35mm but most 32mm. bizarre Gbawden (talk) 09:26, 7 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
