raison d'être[edit]

Why is this a standalone article rather than a section in sociolinguistics? —Tamfang 21:07, 9 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

... or in Languages of India? —Tamfang 08:18, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

References[edit]

The following is a quick start to an attempt to gather resources about sociolinguistics research in India which could be used to make this a worthwhile article. Not all the following will be easily accessible, and not all will be useful. Also need journal articles. Any additions/other help much appreciated.

Material added[edit]

I've added a number of sections but a) I haven't tidied up the stuff that was already there, and b) it only draws so far on three sources. Any clean-up help much appreciated. --Zeborah 09:45, 2 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
