Orphaned

The orphaned status should be removed, as a number of articles now link to social commerce.Andrew.t.stephen (talk) 15:20, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

Notability

My company just sold a major project to Intel where Social Commerce was a primary feature of the deal. I found this article helpful in defining Social Commerce. In addition I see external references have been provided. Therefore, I think the tag for not meeting the general notability guideline should be removed.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Lbecque (talkcontribs) 09:08, 25 March 2008

I am a member of a research team at Columbia University, Graduate School of Business who is doing academic research on social commerce, which is part of a doctoral dissertation and is under advanced stages of review for publication in a top, peer-reviewed, A-level academic journal in the field of marketing. Given that academic research is being done on this topic and this dissertation and research has been well-received in the academic community, the notability tag should be removed.Andrew.t.stephen (talk) 15:21, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

I am the co-founder of AgooBiz.com. It is a Social Commerce Network and is highly relevant to this article as a reference. Currently, a Wikipedia article about AgooBiz is being written. I respectfully and politely request that AgooBiz // The Social Commerce Network be added to the list of Notable social commerce sites. My attempt to include it was not spam or advertising. I considered the following information before attempting to include this site for your readers' reference:

"There are several things that should be considered when adding an external link.

Is the site content accessible to the reader?
Is the site content proper in the context of the article (useful, tasteful, informative, factual, etc.)?
Is the link functional and likely to remain functional?"

I also considered the fact that this article is the most relevant location to reference AgooBiz.com on Wikipedia. If the creator of the Social Commerce article still does not wish to include my reference, I humbly ask what I need to do to change my eligibility. I've researched all the other sites that are currently listed and I don't understand why these specific sites were chosen for reference above others. Please let me know at your convenience. Thank you very much Skavetsky (talk) 11:49, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
