Josh or James?

On the album cover, you see "James" (wearing the black mask) standing right next to Corey. On the other side is Mick. Every Slipknot fan knows that James is taller than Mick, but, on the cover, "James" is shorter than Mick. Is this a slip-up, or Josh? WereWolf 14:15, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

oplz, this is not heavy metal, this is METAL or NU-METAL.

Every SlipKnoT fan knows that it is Josh on the cover as this photo was taken in Shawns basement long before James entered. James eventually took over, and he did wear the same mask for a while before he decided to get his own joker styled one. I thought every Slipknot fan knew this before they knew that James was slightly taller than Mick, but anyway... I don't really even like them so much since Corey failed miserably to keep up with the rest of the band on vol 3.

Edits

I changed the tracklisting to reflect three of the four versions of the CD but if anyone knows the exact tracklisting and times for the second Digipak please add that as well. I also removed some unnecessary and/or erroneous crap like "The album evolved from Slipknot (demo)" that someone had put in after the Q magazine part. I forgot to sign in prior to doing any of that so on the history page it'll so up as my IP address.

This album was thought to be called 870... (as the bar code) and was erroneous catalogued as Slipknot by the releasing of their single wait and bleed in which it appears as an homonimous album???

A question about a sample used

Does anyone know where the scream and siren sample in Prosthetics (first heard around 40 seconds in) comes from by any chance? Gabber Foxx 21:26, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

Undid revision

The genre field listed Extreme Metal and Rap Metal. Rap Metal may be added back (reliable source would be nice), but Extreme Metal may not. Extreme includes Thrash, Death, Black, and Doom. Slipknot are none of those, and there isn't a verifiable and reliable source that would conclude such. -Motleh 06:54, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Backmask in "Eeyore"

I managed to track down a backwards message in the hidden track, "Eeyore". It's probably sampled from somewhere, since it doesn't sound like Corey at all. The message is "Take that, motherfucker". Does anyone know more about this? I'm holding off on adding it to List of backmasked messages until I know the details. --Djwings 15:35, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
