Above tag[edit]

I've created this article by extracting cricket content out of Slindon which I think should be about the village only (see also Hadlow and Hadlow Cricket Club). I took the tag above from the discussion page of Talk:Slindon as it seems to relate to cricket only. I hope this is the right thing to do. --Jim Hardie (talk) 12:25, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That was correct, Jim. The article about the village isn't about cricket, so you were right ro remove the cricket tag. I've added the Sussex tag to both articles. Mjroots (talk) 14:03, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Last game?[edit]

Not only was there last game not in the 18th Century, Slindon CC are still alive, albeit as a village side. According to their own site (and an article in Sussex Life as a secondary source), the club has existed continuously since their claimed formation in 1731. http://slindon.play-cricket.com/website/web_pages/160333 Unless anyone has major objections I will add to this article with relevant sources.
