List of works[edit]

I'm not an expert on Pollock, but the list of his works seems a bit thin. I think he wrote a book on 'The Land Laws', a 'First Book of Jurisprudence', and various others, including a short book on Spinoza.86.135.99.192 (talk) 23:14, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong portrait[edit]

A user (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/George_F.Pol) remarked that the current portrait "is not of the third baronet, but of the first, Lord Chief Baron Pollock". I think he is right.

It is enough to compare the portrait in the article with this one:
http://www.npg.org.uk/collections/search/portraitLarge/mw134400/Sir-Jonathan-Frederick-Pollock-1st-Bt?LinkID=mp03601&role=sit&rNo=3
which is identified as Sir (Jonathan) Frederick Pollock, 1st Bt by John & Charles Watkins (1860s, acquired: 1962, NPG x12755).

To my untrained eyes these two portraits are of the same man, the first baronet. There are several good portraits of the third baronet at the National Portrait Gallery, so I think that we have to replace the portrait in the article, and also properly identify the current version as the picture of the first baronet, Sir Jonathan Frederick Pollock. Are those portraits in the NPG copyrighted therefore unsuitable for Wiki Commons? Ulrich von Lichtenstein (talk) 09:39, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A proper photo of Sir Frederick Pollock, 3rd Baronet (1845-1937) has been added. Ulrich von Lichtenstein (talk) 10:02, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong data on his wife[edit]

Currently we have the following: "He married a daughter of Richard Langslow, who lived in Heathrow House on Cain's Lane in Heathrow (a village that until 1944 was where Heathrow Airport is now)." However two separate sources name Georgina Harriet Defell as his wife:
