Common terminology?[edit]

If this is a technical term in common use, it must be possible to find a better authority than a Master's thesis. If it is the word that musicologists ordinarily use when referring to multiple generalized constructs interacting in a parallel/coincident spatio-temporal commonality, they are only using it to mean that two or more things are happening at the same time, just like everyone else.
