Notability of Communes[edit]

Communes are the third level administrative units in Cambodia, population from 5-30 thousand persons. They are certainly notable for inclusion in wikipedia - as are the many villages, shopping centres, primary schools and railway stations in more developed countries with better Wiki coverage. Please don't delink these future commune articles - there is a herculean effort ongoing by a very small group of editors to improve Wikipedia's coverage of 'other' countries, which needs to be encouraged. Commune articles are being written almost every day. Red links are reminders that we need to continue to build these basic geographic articles - not an eyesore that should be removed from an article. Thank you and happy editing. Paxse (talk) 06:50, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Feeder to the Sihanouk Trail[edit]

During the Vietnam War, Sihanoukville supplied 1,000s of tons of military supplies to communist forces in South Vietnam via the Sihanouk Trail. Someone should note that under history.Georgejdorner (talk) 18:04, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
