Split Signing Time! Foundation into a different article[edit]

I think that the Signing Time! Foundation should have its own article. It takes up a large chunk of the Signing Time! article, and I believe it is notable enough to receive its own article. Purplewowies (talk) 23:20, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Signing Time! Foundation was deleted in April 2008 since it did not assert any importance or notability. I have now tagged the section requiring further refs. There are no refs from third party sources in that section. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 21:01, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help Fix Press Release Speak[edit]

Nick Jr[edit]

Looks like Nick Jr is doing something with Signing Time - http://www.nickjr.com/signing-time/?af=1 Not sure where they are headed with it. Stub?[edit]

There is still a stub tag on this article. While I understand that it can always be expanded upon, I'm not sure that it's stub status at this point. I was going to remove the tag, but as it's not my project, I thought I'd bring it to those who are currently working on the article. Perhaps the tag got forgotten? It's actually from the Two Little Hands Productions article, which got merged into this one. That article was a stub, and it seems that I didn't realize it was at the bottom of the page after cleaning up after the merge. That also explains the duplicate references and see also sections. Alex and Leah are getting a bit old. It becomes less likely with the passing years that there would be a third season. On the new show Rachel's developing, I don't know. I didn't even know it existed until a month or so ago. Split Two Little Hands into separate article[edit]

Two Little Hands Productions redirects to this page. Should it have a separate article since it is the production company for several shows? Two Little Hands Productions has produced everything in the Signing Time family: "Signing Time", "Baby Signing Time", "Potty Time", "Practice Time", & "Signing Time Sentences". Liam Coleman[edit]

For a bit now, the person who portrayed Leah in-show has used they/them pronouns and the name "Liam". Reliable sources exist to back this up (though for brevity I'm going to just link this Instagram post that makes clear they are who they say they are and the IG profile using they/them). Per MOS:GENDERID the article needs rewrites to accommodate this. I made pronoun changes in February but wasn't sure how best to address the name change due to some complexities surrounding it (Liam is not independently notable (so in theory not using the deadname at all is advised) though they are notable in the context of the show and the "character" named Leah still has their name credited as "Leah Coleman" AFAIK (and I don't have the money to subscribe to My Signing Time in order to see if there's any chance it was changed)... further, the cartoon in Baby Signing Time which is not actually portrayed by Liam is called Leah).

I'm not sure the best way to rewrite the article for the name changes so I thought I'd bring it to the talk page first in case anyone else knows the best way to go about this without making it confusing or running afoul of the guideline. - Purplewowies (talk) 16:51, 7 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
