Hi I am a new editor as of December 2013 and am a student of the Sigma by Martin guitar line. I have been studying Sigma for a number of years and gathering documentation such as articles, Martin memo's, price lists, confidential dealer's information, catalogs, ads, trade magazines and periodicals, etc. I have noticed a number of inconsistencies and errors pertaining to certain models such as the 1980 D-10 'Anniversary' model and the citations that accompany it such as a 'Guitar Player' magazine ad dated September 1980[1]. The information currently on this page states that there were only 100 D-10 guitar made and they were completely solid. The ad states that they were a limited edition (meaning only being produced for one year), had a solid top and 'matched' (adspeak for laminate) back and sides. the Wikipedia page is in error and I ask others in the community to please check the source I am providing and allow mw to make the edit.

Please do, but don't add the correction as a rebuttal, just replace the incorrect information. This article is far too large for an entry about a specific company's products as is. Thanks for digging up a better source than an internet forum post. 69.23.116.182 (talk) 08:40, 31 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Will do. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluesman1216 (talkcontribs) 05:58, 2 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I need to change the section :"DR-7 Dreadnought. Solid spruce top. Matched rosewood back and sides. Back and sides have 5-layered w/b/w/b/w binding. Rosewood overlay on peghead. Peghead bound in white. Adjustable truss rod through peghead from 1970 through 1979. Rosewood bridge and fingerboard. Adjustable rosewood bridge on the earliest models. Pearl/pearloid inlay position markers on fingerboard. Chrome closed back tuners (11:1 ratio.) The first year is known to have a zero fret. High gloss lacquer finish." TO: "DR-7 Dreadnought. LAMINATE spruce top. Matched LAMINATE rosewood back and sides. High gloss lacquer finish. Truss rod adjustment location is on peg head at nut until 1980. After 1980 truss rod adjustment is located interally and is acsessed from soundhole." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bluesman1216 (talkcontribs) 17:58, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
