Removed advertising copy&paste[edit]

Ok, I removed the last paragraph (added on 8 January 2008), which was not only probably a copyright infringement from http://www.sigmaplot.com/products/sigmascan/sigmascan.php but also copying from the company's advertising. --Rubik's Cube (talk) 16:52, 1 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is[edit]

This is not blatant advertizing. Every line on the page is factual.

Why is this and the other Sigma pages anyless compliant with wiki than this page:

??

It has a long history of delivering a solid scientific analysis and graphs for 100's of thousands of scientists, engineers and academics.

Two points. Firstly, we don't admit such comparative arguments. Secondly, what sources can you provide, that are independent? Simply linking to commercial sites doesn't help us. Charles Matthews 12:20, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
SYSTAT is a well know company, and they do produce research grade software, unfortunately all of their articles on wikipedia read word for word, like press releases. In many cases they're even copyvio's from SYSTAT's own website. I've therefore reduced them all to stubs, and removed the offending material. Hopefully someone else will come along and write well though out articles about each of them. Hopefully this someone won't be employed by SYSTAT.--69.118.143.107 (talk) 19:51, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
