Relevance of links[edit]

This article contained literally dozens of links that simply were irrelevant to the page's content, and provided no value to readers. I am sure I did not find all of them. A link for the name of a geographic feature (mountain, creek, town) should take the reader to an article about that particular geographic feature. If it doesn't, it is not useful (except perhaps where the topic should have an article about it, but it has not been written yet, in which case a red link could be useful in attracting other editors' attention to the topic). --R'n'B (call me Russ) 15:15, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Large table is original research?[edit]

I was concerned that the large table of data in the article was original research. Namely, it was based on a careful analysis of map data (and only cited primary map sources). Since the table was not directly taken from the map, nor directly supported (via a simple calculation), I decided to be bold and delete the table.

I'm open to discussion: if other editors want to restore the table and further discuss the issue, I would be OK with that. —hike395 (talk) 13:04, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
