This article is in desperate need of expansion on the actual historical shugenja. Who were they, what did they do, etc. There may be significant overlap with the article on shugendō, but as it stands now, this article looks ridiculously short; the introduction focuses almost exclusively on explaining incorrect translations, while the rest is devoted to fantasy games. Indeed. The RPG stuff should maybe be split off to its own article(s). Do you have any decent sources to expand the actual historical part with? BOZ (talk) 22:13, 29 April 2009 (UTC)
