Latest prod + request[edit]

Firstly, I apologize for the latest proposed deletion request—I forgot having made the first one and the subject seemed highly non-notable. My request therefore is, can someone please expand the article and clearly assert notability? I surmise from the article that Ben David is an artist? Is he? That's not 100% clear. Also, there are millions of artists in the world. Why is he notable? —Ynhockey (Talk) 18:31, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Birth name[edit]

c:File:Kedem 23 013-2.jpg gives his name as Shmuel Ben David (Davidov), implying that his birth name was Shmuel Davidov (or possibly Samuel Davidov, see Shmuel). Can we find a source to confirm this? Verbcatcher (talk) 13:41, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
