Separating 旧志布志町 and 志布志市 articles[edit]

Regarding BigBang19's proposal for rewriting this page to be about the former town of Shibushi, and making a new article about the current city of Shibushi, I disagree. The former town of Shibushi (志布志町) no longer exists as an independent municipality. Any notable information about it should now go in the article for the city of Shibushi (志布志市). Further, I don't believe there is any precedent or significant consensus for creating separate articles for former municipalities of the same name. Amake 10:59, 8 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
