Based on this piece by Gary Parrish on his name, I could make a case that it's probably Shán on the birth certificate. I have no idea how Shan/Shán writes his own name. Opinions? - PhilipR (talk) 09:05, 8 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting read. However, since I've never seen his named spelled that way in any publication anywhere else, EVER, it would be a little odd to change it here on the wiki article.
