Chronology[edit]

This article puts forth the chronology of events as undisputed, but I've often read that some of the dating is disputing, e.g. he might not have seized Mari until the middle of his 33-year reign.

I also read that he actually seized power from his brother, although this article says he left his brother alone.

Anyone know anything about this?

I'd go with what you read, especially if you can add inline citations. Twofistedcoffeedrinker (talk) 22:22, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chronology[edit]

Short Chronology (Babylon King-List A) is set for Hammurabi, and places Shamsi-Adad I as his contemporary (c-1730-c1685). Should not a common chronology be used for all corresponding articles? Devonderek (talk) 20:00, 6 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
